I called Goodwill and was told they have stopped taking them until closer to Christmas. Mine is stored in my attic until I try again in late November or early December.

I called Goodwill and was told they have stopped taking them until closer to Christmas. Mine is stored in my attic until I try again in late November or early December.
When we want to get rid of something that's too large for the garbage guys to pick up, we will put the item at the curb the day prior to trash day and put a sign on it for anyone to take and it's normally gone within 30 minutes! It's even taken without a sign when intended for a 'special pickup' or for a charity.
