Hi, we are new here (Belle Aire). Just bought a home and would like a little color and privacy around our home. Recommendations for landscapers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Patty

We had Chris design and install a uniues water feature and do some landscaping. We were pleased with how professional he and his crew were. They are located on 441 towards Belleview. I think I got bids from every single place and liked their ideas and prices best.

We just used Village Palm, Wendy and Bill, for a large amount of work. I really appreciated Bill's artistic eye and Wendy's willingness to make changes. I feel we received quality work! The sub-contractors and all laborers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. Were done quickly.
Used All American Kwik Kerb for stone work and landscaping they did a great job at a fair price.

Sabrina McGowan is my landscaper. She totally understood what I was trying to do and made sure I was happy. Also saw an ad at the theater that if you book a date in Jan. you get a free tree.

Another huge vote for Villages Palms. I have a large corner lot and they did a super job for us in August, including a water feature that sets things off. Bill and Wendy run a top notch operation and their crew are a great bunch of fellows. Located on 466 just before you turn on Rolling Acres, as a matter of fact stay out of the left turn lane so you can get in their driveway. They did my neoghbor also.

We completed a fairly large landscaping project in late December. We relied on information and recommendations from TOTV members.
Obtaining estimates proved to be an interesting experience. We requested an estimate from one company who has been highly recommended on TOTV. They came to our house and promised us a quick estimate, and we never heard from them again. We did get estimates from Mansfield and Kwik Kerb.
We decided to use Terrascape because they have their own nursery and we felt they were professional. We were looking for a double-trunk mature Sylvester, diamond cut, which is hard to find. Terrascape provided palms, hedging, coloured curbing, rock, etc. There were some problems along the way, which were sorted out to our satisfaction.
Bonnie, the Nursery Manager, is a real gem.
The only comment I have is to seriously consider what u plant. If they are not frost and freeze resistant, u will be ripping out plants each year. Covering the plants helps about 50% of the time, but the other 50% is the problem. As my plants die I am replacing them with plants that can tolerate the winters here.

sabrina mcgowan is the best in the villages.we used terrascape and found them expensive. they had smaller and and less hardy plants and they did not stand behind their work, they even wanted to charge me more to stake out my palm trees and andres was less than attentive to our wishes. mcgowan exceeds all expectations and you will not be dissapointed.
