Publix/WinDixie in Eastport?

For sure WinDixie isn’t happening. Aldi bought them out.

And none of the Aldi stores are actually in the Villages.

There could be an Aldi happening in Sumter Landing. That WinDixie may turn into one? The OP pics look more like a Publix foot print?

Layout suggests another Publix with a drive thru Pharmacy.

Didn’t Goldwing have this site on his video awhile back, noting the site was a grocery. But no name yet on tenants

Not sure how you define "in The Villages", but the one near Walmart on 441 is golf cart accessible.

IF the Winn-Dixie in Pinellas Plaza becomes an Aldi (& that's a big if), then it would be a Villages Development Co tenant & golf cart accessible. However, since there already is an Aldi nearby, who knows?

Agree on Publix, Don Wiley pointed both out in his video this morning.

Footprint for this one is similar to Walmart Matket at Colony.

I suspect most stores would open outside of the bubble to reduce cost of rent.

The store I really want closer by is a Trader Joe's.

I define the Villages as property inside their footprint. For example, the Winn Dixie at Pinellas is in a Villages' shopping center. I am not exactly sure Winn Dixie owns the building or if they rent it from the Villages. However, the Culver's, Lowes, and Aldi at Pinellas are on the other side of 466A and as far as I can tell, are not on Villages' property.

And I use this map.

Homefinder - The Villages(R) Homes and Villas for Sale (https://www.thevillages.com/homefinder/?new&preowned&homesites&status&lng=-82.00820065983571&lat=28.91632011145854&lvl=2)

Until Goldwing can verify name of business by researching filing permits, he only say it’s a grocery. He even has speculation that a big box store is coming and everyone will be very happy, but until he verifies one has to guess

True. But I'm praying for an Audi in the South area. ;)

I'll have to check out his latest video. The last one I saw had him saying that the footprint was too small for a Publix; that it was likely to be a Walmart Neighborhood like the one across from Colony. That is definitely a smaller grocery store compared to an average Publix.

Why since most post that if you buy a car their fees are outrageous compared to dealership outside of bubble

I think there is already a second Walmart going in near Villages Grown at the corner of 44 and Morse.

Posted on Facebook, appears to show leasable retail and restaurants spaces in Middleton.

Footprint of grocery remains similar to Wallmart Market in Colony.
