I am coming Feb. 1 to the Villages. I need to ship golf clubs down and am wondering: are there Fedex offices in the Villages and if not where is the closest one? thanks:shrug:

There is The Villages Pack and ship. They are an authorized Fed Ex ShipCenter. They can ship & Receive Fed Ex packages. http://villagepacknship.com/

FedEx will deliver right to your home. So will UPS. The only problem is that they simply leave at the door. So far as I know, this has worked fairly well -- haven't heard of any thefts. I'm sure you could make arrangements with Pack & Ship (whichever shopping center is closest to you -- there's one on 441/27; 466 and 466A).

We have stuff delivered all the time with FedEX and UPS and no problems so far. Like Red said they ring the bell and leave by the door. If we leave the screend front door open then they set it inside our screened porch area in the front.
