A friend and I have taken a lesson on American Mah Jongg. the teacher gave us a list of open Mah Jongg times & places, specifying those that have beginners tables and helpers.

This list only includes rec centers south of 44. Does anyone know of a rec center/day/time north of 44 that has beginners tables and helpers?

Can you ask your teacher to give you a list for centers north of 44? Maybe she has multiple lists & just gave you one of them. Alternatively, maybe she has contacts & can generate a list of centers north of 44.
