I cannot comment on companies, but make sure the NEW sealer is tested in an inconspicuous area so that it is suitable for your existing sealer. Also, make sure the weather is suitable for what you are doing. I understand that some sealers can get cloudy due to trapped moisture in the pavers.

On an aside, the company that painted (stained) out driveway, no longer suggests sealing every 7 to 8 years due to the possible clouding of the sealer.

There are a lot of different sealers out there in both water and oil based. Different finishes from wet look to almost no show at all which is what we used when having ours done. It is protected with the sealer but does not change the color of the pavers we chose. The company that did ours last had to stop due to health reasons so no reference here, just find a company that has a lot of reviews and references.

I dont have a contractor but there are some great YouTube vids on this type of work. Some of them are based in FL. Maybe hit the comment section on YT for a recommendation

Paver driveways also need a dose of sand after the cleaning and before the sealing. I was told by Paradise Pavers who installed our driveway that the sand is part of the "system" to keep the pavers stable.
