Our son cleaned out some stuff from a trunk that he left with us.
He had saved several full weekday Washington Posts from Jan 1991. Not praising or condemning that newspaper.
Interesting observation regarding the papers.
Each weekday issue was over 1 pound and the Jan 1991 cost was $ .25 (one Quarter). Obviously that one pound contained a lot of printed advertising which has been steadily disappearing as the internet and TV takes it on. But that includes the revenue.
Current news stand Daily price is $3.00 and I am sure much less paper.
