Sounds like competition is working as it should. Who knows, maybe one day we'll see a "new" trend where you don't have to pay the STORE to enter and buy their products....lol... imagine that. Just paid $25 to join B.J.'s basic membership, but when Costco arrives we are done with B.J's for sure. $14 sounds good for Sam's fans, wonder if it applies to renewals too ?

Sam's is just OK; I'll wait for Costco. BJ's is a poor 3rd. Had free 90-day trial memberships in the past; never bought much of anything. Always went the extra mile to Costco.

BJ had $ 20 new membership when stores opened and renewed at normal fee. Bet Sams does the same thing
