Played Pimlico today with a couple of friends .
The newly rebuilt putting green is in fantastic shape . Unfortunately, that is not the case with most of the greens at Pimlico. The first green was actually pretty good but quickly went downhill from there .
Prior to playing, I asked the starter whether Pimlico would be closing for a makeover but he stated “not that I know of” .
Most of the tee boxes were just OK and the sand traps were also in OK condition.
Fairways were the usual “hardpan” seen throughout most VILLAGES courses .
The report card that was recently posted rated Pimlico a C minus and I would concur with that assessment…..
