Our foursome played Escambia yesterday (Wednesday)

Most of greens are in excellent condition, although they were in need of a good mow and rolling . As such , they were slow so most of the puts came up short of the hole. It took a few holes to get used to that speed.

The tee boxes are in great shape too . Actual grass instead of that horrific packed down mud seen at other execs.

The area around the greens had plenty of grass so if you missed the green on the tee shot , you had a good chance at a decent chip .

Although not 100% perfect , Escambia certainly deserves the A - rating given by the “Report Card” recently posted .

Totally correct. Greens are kind of slow but so lush, what a nice change.
