No idea on the "best" as most locations have a 2 for 1 happy hour, or several hours depending where you go. I suggest that you just call a few places that you like (or are interested in) and ask when and what their happy hour includes. Most locates this will be 'well' drinks only and will not include any (or very few) mixed drinks or top shelf booze.
Also, remember you can get tagged for drunk driving in a golf cart and the penalty may affect your insurance and ability to drive your car, in other words drink responsibly.

Seems like a trolling post….
Impossible to answer…the Villages is too large.
I you live north of 466, you are not driving to Sawgrass for happy hour
Best deal for happy hour is your Lanai - drinks will never be cheaper than you making them.

Welcome …….Sorry some posters seem to be on the grumpy side today. Some Seem to think every resident that asked about a happy hours has a drinking problem. If you are new it’s one way to meet people.
The Daily Sun has ads for pretty much every restaurant within the bubble. Daily specials along with a specialty drink. We find specialty drinks are premade in large pitchers, are either too much mix or near the end whatever alcohol they’re using sit at the bottom. Every day happy hour usually includes most tap beer and house wine as a 2 for one.
Pretty much everybody has a happy hour somewhere between 11-5.
If you are looking to socialize LSL has City Fire. Other Restaurants and the CC’s (no they’re not really a member only county club but its their name) have a laid back atmosphere.
If we lunch out we usually get a Yuengling. Can’t screw up a tap beer.
Anything mixed is a usually disappointing, since our kids put themselves through college working as mixologists. So little spoiled.

For places to survive in TV, you have to have some type of "happy hour" version.

Enjoy to journey (not drinking & driving)......try places, meet people, enjoy.

In Brownwood, Cody's has 2 for 1 all day. Sawgrass 2 for 1 from 3-5pm only. Edna's 3-5 happy hour is a discount but not 2 for 1.

Edna's only has a beer and wine license.

I'd tell you but then everyone reading this would go there and then as Yogi Berra would say "Nobody goes there now, it's too crowded." But, they do have 24/7 happy hours all day with a real 2 for 1. You get a two for ones on everything! Northern part of The Villages and we like to keep this to ourselves.

I agree with the person that said TV is too big. All the happy hours are similar so find the places closest to you and check them out and find your favorite.

If have to depend on happy hours deals I recommend stop drinking:shrug:You completely missed the point- presumably intentionally- jumping at the chance to make someone feel bad about themself. Let's use your logic against you: If you have to rely on making your fellow man unhappy to feel good about yourself you have a huge problem. OP was looking for a bargain- not a FIX. You owe him a public apology.

Add to that, not all "Happy Hour" specials are drinks... Some are discounted appetizers and meals...

Even 2-for-1 drinks not for us going out water, soda or ice tea. Not worth the trouble of a DUI at this time of my life. We’ll have cocktails at home.

Very true. A lot of potential LEO ‘revenue” just waiting to be tapped (no pun intended)

Good for you!
I think the individual that’s asking you to issue a ‘public apology’.....should be issuing one to you for assuming that you’re ‘unhappy’! That’s coming from a ‘curmudgeon’ too! :1rotfl:

Very true, happy hour has many meanings. For me, happy hour is when everyone is crowding together drinking or eating and the sports pools are practically empty. It’s a very uncrowded and relaxing time to swim laps which makes for a very happy time of the day : )

Villager Eats has by far the most comprehensive list I've seen - quite a few listed, organized by day of the week.

"Best" is subjective. Are you looking for alcohol specials, food specials, atmosphere, live music? The country clubs worth exploring, most restaurants, especially at the squares have some sort of special. For instance Fiesta Grande at Brownwood has 241 drink specials daily and Taco Tuesday tacos for $2. Edna's is a great outdoor venue with some sort of live music, the alcohol is limited to beer and wine and not 241, some discounted pricing certain hours. Either might be "best" depending on what you prefer.
You have hundreds of options, have fun exploring and welcome, it's a blast living in TV.
