Well that's disappointing.....one of our go to places. Great food and friendly staff.

Their website defaults to the Slice app. No message from ownership that I can find. Strange

I remember it was so close to the street with busy traffic.
You had to be extra careful coming out on the street.

Was a great place to go to after golf at Baseline. During the week you bought 1 entree and got 1 free. Shame it closed

Ricardo's pizza (across from Yeoman's Ford) has excellent food and will pickup the customers.

Try NYPD Pizzeria we feel it is the best around, and close. They have a lunch special, two pieces of pizza and all the soda or iced tea you can drink for $7.50

Wow, surprise. One of the last one of a kind, independent, places. Would have thought if they made it through co-vid, they'd made it ! Too bad, mostly "chain" places around.

Try Pasta Faire a few miles north on Rt 441.

Used to go to Chicken Time near there and near Pasta Faire a lot for great Cuban sandwiches, back when choices IN the villages were VERY limited. Does anyone remember the first/original Italian restaurant in S.Springs ? It was on the corner, across from what was eventually Margaretta Republic (anyone who can remember the name of the very first restaurant in that location ?). I DO remember Bachara (spelling ?) bakery, just wonderful home style bakery, very different than grocery store "bakeries". When driving "up north" to see relatives for the holidays every year from our south Florida hometown, long before we thought about retirement in the central part of Florida, we'd stop and load up on bakery goods for the trip, then usually get into them when we stopped for the night near the Florida-Georgia line. Memories.

Sorry to say this but the people in central Florida don't know what really good pizza is. I could take them to three places in New Jersey and they would never eat the pizza here again.

Pizza here is edible but compared to what we were used to not very good.

"but more coming"... I know this is sarcastic, I'm guilty, but yippee, maybe a new pizza hut or dominoes in the future.... Ho hum, yawn.

True

A consolation is Tampa. Portnoy (Barstool) reviewed a few there recently.

Here's how Barstool boss Dave Portnoy ranked Tampa Bay pizza spots | Tampa | Creative Loafing Tampa Bay (https://www.cltampa.com/tampa/heres-how-barstool-boss-dave-portnoy-ranked-tampa-bay-pizza-spots/Slideshow/17603669/17604432)

Pu-leez! First off, we are in Florida. I doubt that you could get anyone to ride all the way to Nu Joisey for pizza.
Second, everybody doesn't have the same taste in pizza. Some people don't even like pete-za. 🤢🤮
Find your favorite local pizza and be satisfied.

I am aware that SOME are very particular about the pizza they like, especially the style of pizza. That said, the best pizza I have found in the Villages has been Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza off of 44. Its a drive for us (30 min), but worthwhile in our opinion. There are other places that have good pizza (Little Joey's, Pasta Faire) and no doubt others we have yet to try.

Their lunch specials (after a round of golf) are great!

The garlic rolls are addictive!
