America's Friendliest Hometown is OK, but I think Golf Is A Human Right! would be kind of catchy. What do you think?

Headquarters would never accept it and as a long time marketing person, I'll tell you why --- it's too pigeonholed.

There are many, many other amenities at TV and they would not want to become widely known primarily for golf. They want the broadest appeal possible and plenty of TVers don't play golf and are happy with other activities provided. Same with pickleball, tennis and everything else. Some like them, some don't care.

The current slogan can seem kind-of cornball but, from a marketing and broad appeal perspective, it is genius.

“Engage in life, Villages”

Or

“Move to the villages, and move more”

Or

“Florida wife, happy life”

“You were born to golf!” How’s that? But many people who first buy don’t golf and don’t think they will until they are here.
