Hey Ron. Welcome to TOTV! Where are you from in NH? I'm a Keene native, although I haven't lived there for almost 25 years. There are quite a few former NH residents in TV. We are currently in VA with the house on the market, planning to move to TV as soon as we sell.

Frigid Berlin... Yeah, I’m getting my house ready to sell as well. Market is good to buy, not so good to sell. Oh well...

BTW, bet the skiing is good in NH this winter. We used to own a condo at Waterville Valley and skied all the time.......traded in our ski equipement for golf, tennis, pickleball, softball, swimming...........the list goes on and on here. You'll love it.

I moved here 6 months ago from Concord, NH- have met several NH natives here. As I sit here today and watch the weather channel and the snow in NH, I know I made the right move! Having lived in NH for 53 years before moving, don't care if I ever see another snowflake :) Good luck on selling your house and moving here!

Another NH native, grew up in the lakes region. Ossipee, Conway, Wolfeboro areas. Also lived in Southern NH, Bedford, Hudson and Manchester. Left there in 1981 and am now in VA waiting to move to TV.

Former Nashua, NH resident for about fifteen years after most of my life as what you NH-ites call "Flatlanders" from MA.

While living in a condo community as a snowbird in Nashua, our neighbors noticed The Villages front vanity plate on our car and when we met in the hall one day they told us that they just had moved back to Nashua from The Villages because they missed their family. This event was several years ago; wonder if they still feel the same with all the snow storms hitting them now.

Small world, huh?

I'm with ya. I was just googling ( funny how that's become a verb) preserving snowflakes. If and when we become frogs I'll preserve one and keep it as a reminder.

Having leave in Chester New Hampshire for 30 + years I don't miss the white stuff or using the snow blower many times in the winter. Chester got 18" in this last storm. We in Florida are the only state without snow. Go for it

Colleen, Congrats to your move to TV, we bought in June of 09 and are finally going to move in Sept. of this year for 8 mo. Were looking forward to being Snowbird and never having to go through another snow storm, last week dumped 12in. in Hampton Beach. Love checking into the Talk of the Villages and keeping up with all thats going on . Terry and Gerry
