For nails I usually do mani Pedi gel. Any recommendations? I'm not much of talker when I get my nails done.
Also hair.... a stylist that knows how to do a nice highlight.
Need a groomer for small 12lb poodle. He's an older guy so someone that is very patient. Not looking for high ended cut for this guy...just short puppy cut and not too worried about what he looks like. He needs special care because well... he's a poodle ....and he's an older gent.
Also a vet!
Thanks!

It might be helpful to mention what area you’re in.

I went to Colony Plaza Solar Nails. I looked past the condescending attitude, but after taking off my gel nail polish (I wanted my nails to rest) I was left with big ugly ridges after they put on regular nail polish. I had to fix up the nails myself at home with ridge filler and a thin coat of regular nail polish to make them half acceptable. Never going back. Total “couldn’t give a …” attitude.

Can't one place do all three ?
That's actually a good idea for a new business. :) Hair and nails probably takes as long as a doggie grooming session.

That attitude is common.
Yep. It's good to know which shops to avoid. Word of mouth is the best way to find a good nail tech. Takes a while to find a talented hair professional as well.

Oh that's so wrong! They were probably angry because you only wanted gel removal and reg polish. Thanks for the warning! I like my nails to have a rest from gel too. Then I use apple cider vinegar and magnesium lotion on them to make them stronger. After about 2 weeks they look great.

I rarely get my nails done by someone else, but I went to "Bella Orchid Nail Spa" by the Best Buy on 441 and I was very happy with them. Technician didn't speak English much so it was easy to not have to make small talk. I just go to Walmart for haircut since I never need anything fancy.

Unless you don’t mind driving for 45 minutes or more to your appointments you might want to state your general area of TV (north, south, central) because if, for example, you’re in the new villages down south you’ll be commuting long distances if you choose most of the recommendations I’ve seen here so far.
Also, ask in the Facebook group for your village, or on NextDoor too, not just here. I think you’ll have better luck finding people/services that are closer to home.

i only use MissJazz @ Hair Cuttery, Traverse Square. am not sure of groomers, but the best vet imo is Timothy Porter of Animal Care Center, Wildwood. you can trust my opinion, i am a former vet tech & he's the only guy i'd use for a sick pet. the EZ Vet in Magnolia Plaza near my house is only good for nails & other minor needs, imo. if you need a REAL vet go to Porter
