Christmas...I believe they called it a Holiday parade?
Why would they call it that?

Why would they call it that?

...because there are a few different holidays during the holiday season, and the parade has groups with people of various religions enjoying or participating in the festivities. It's called being a good Christian and including your fellow man in your joy. Considering that the true birthdate of Jesus isn't even known, and is disputed by Christian scholars worldwide, and that December 25 was chosen 600 years after his supposed birth to obscure and replace the pagan winter solstice festivals, it seems like a nice thing to do, to share the season with everyone and just refer to it as the Holiday Parade and Holiday Season.

If you want to celebrate something else, that’s great. But keep Christ in Christmas.

We don’t celebrate the 4th of July, we celebrate INDEPENDENCE DAY!

I was watching a TV show the other day where a person had mounted fireworks on top of a golf cart. He lit them and drove around as the went off. I was thinking driving around Lake Sumter Landing shooting off fireworks from the top of my golf cart would be a big hit! The wife thought otherwise and said I could not do this.

I sure hope these "radical" party loyalists, who can never see a flaw in the party they support, will spare us political parades, but something tells me my "hopes" have little choice of coming true !
