And I’m gonna throw this on here because I don’t wanna do another post. I’m new to the villages only about four months and I was curious if anyone knows if theirs is a stargazing group or where can I find this information without having to buy the newspaper?

They’re building a CVS there and I think something else as well but for sure CVS. I like to watch Gold wing nut videos. He’s very informative as to all new builds.

You don’t need to buy the paper to find clubs. You can access them online - 2 ways. Both TV app & TV website have the clubs.

it has been very well publicized that it is a CVS. It was announced almost 18 months ago when the 7-Eleven was also announced. For some reason, the CVS on 466 and Powell Was announced almost a year later and has been open for a couple of months now.
The other person who posted is right. The Astronomy Club Has quite an active group. There is an astronomy pad at the Homestead recreation Center. But it's only open during the day. 😝

Right!? Whose brilliant idea was it to spend thousands of dollars on the astronomy pads, setup, and electrical and not be able to use it at night? Nice thought, but impractical and a big waste of money. The club can't fully enjoy it. 🤔
