Why put speed bump at tunnel entry when you have to make 90 turn to enter tunnel both directions (no through traffics like at Palmers). Like one at EL Camino Reno and Buenos Aires blvd. Not like going to speed down ramp there’s wall you will run into if you don’t make 90 degree turn and the speed bump at entry does nothing IMO but wear out suspension.

There was yellow chalk on one tunnel wall with the words “windshield” and I believe “head.” There was no speed bump at that tunnel.
I agree though that the speed bump at the tunnel near Laurel Manor is more aggressive than necessary.

I’m guessing it slows bozo’s down making wide turns going into other lanes?

I was just about to say that.

The tunnel under Buena Vista now near Saddlebrook has a very low clearance, curbs and speed bumps and then you have to watch out for walkers and the like at the west side.
Not well planned. Think some golf carts would get stuck in the tunnel.

Because the people making the decision to put the speed bump do not live here. They do not drive golf carts here. It does not affect them. They do not understand how stupid that decision is because they do not live here. {repeat}

Speed bumps are great when placed in the right area. Over two years ago, i informed the Morse family and the Safety Dept. that a speed bump is needed on St. Charles at the gate area near Sand hill golf course. This would slow car traffic and allow golf carts to pass through.

Why is there roundabouts. Beacause people don't collectively stand up to the power overlords.

These speed bumps are a safety hazard to bike riders. I have spilled 2 times over the bumps and swear the next time I'll let Morgan & Morgan handle it. I've tried to contact those that take care of them but they are hidden. THIS NEED ADDRESSED. remove em, they serve NO purpose.

AND, why have some tunnel access paths two way and others one way? They are all the same width.

Speed bumps are a terrible idea for golf carts. The suspension of a golf cart is not designed to take a pounding, or the riders backs.

Been here many, many years, they were put there for Safety Reasons. Cart drivers were acting like “ Speed Racer “ and not stopping, and those who didn’t have to stop were having Close Calls. Decisions were made to Protect others! Johnny Come lately’s weren’t here!

Word has it that the speed bumps are paid for by a local chiropractor.

That's because you are going over them too fast.
