There are several other options, Groome, Villages Airport Van, several private taxi companies some private individuals, I would suspect any replies on UBER would depend on the individual providing the service.

I don’t understand your question? I’d imagine the only reason everyone doesn’t use Uber is the expense? I was stranded at MCO once at around 10pm ( my ride never showed up) so I called Uber expecting to pay at least 150 bucks to the villages but to my surprise it was only 67 plus tip. I’ve looked into going to the airport and it was more like 167. In my normal traveling life I use Uber all the time. But then again, you couldn’t pay me to take a van with multiple stops and people. If my trip is less than a week I just drive and park at the airport.

I took an Uber to MCO back in March on a Saturday morning. Driver was a little late picking me up as she misjudged the time to reach my house from her location up near the mall in Leesburg.
I’d rate the ride experience a 9 out of 10 and the cost was almost $70 plus tip. Very reasonable for a private ride.

I’ve used uber around TV a number of times. I’ve had good experiences. Haven’t used it for the airport.
I would be interested if you can use the scheduling option for MCO trips.

How challenging is it to get the Uber at the airport ??? Pick-up from TV I suppose is much easier but not sure how hard or how long a wait to get one at MCO for pick-up ???? We have rented a car and it's about the same cost as the Uber. Upside to using Uber is you don't have a rental to return the next day. I like that idea and plan to give it some consideration

If you are getting an Uber at MCO, then that will be a driver from the Orlando area, so I'm not sure how anyone here can speak about the hundreds of Uber drivers in Orlando.

There are probably hundreds of Uber drivers in Orlando. Uber drivers can decline a ride, even after they accept it…ive had that happen to me.
My guess is that Uber drivers in the Orlando area are looking for quick rides…from MCO to local areas, disney guests, etc.
If i were an Uber driver at MCO, i would not accept a Villager. Why drive an hour plus and then have to drive back without a passenger.

If we knew that it was easy to get an uber to local airports drivers might be able to get ride back.

Ride-shares love those longer trips. Good ones pick up rides once there and work their way back.

I’ve been a driver and sometimes the passengers are a PIA, LOL. Tip well if they do well as it’s a job for them to.

My son had no problem getting a Lyft ride at MCO on Christmas morning, but the app wouldn't recognize my address in one of the new villages, so he ended up taking it to Minneola and I picked him up there.
