For those who have sold a golf cart, how did you establish its value? Thanks

Check the "For Sale" ads here on ToTV, on FaceBook Marketplace and on NextDoor. You should be able to find a similarly equipped cart for sale.

I've found that the Typical Villages Cart (a QuieTech with High Back seats) depreciates by about $1000 per year...

For example, a 2017 Yamaha cart may sell for $8000, and a 2016 will sell for $6000...

Buy make and year, condition, and any add ons. So need know retail price when new and any upgrades than may have been done. Next determine how old cart and miles/hours. You can now figure out how much you think it worth. Might not be worth it to suspected buyer? Buyers always want think they’re getting good deal, so by comparing to other similar makes/year from want adds listings. You should be able to estimate fair price providing cart has no know problems?

6K? probably some golfers that put 30K plus miles on them running wide open. Yep, I want that cart……

Add $2,000 to the value of what the golf cart store offers.

Just going on what I bought and sold my used carts for, and what I see them selling for on the various site...

YMMV (just like with a cart, a low milage cart will be worth more than a high milage cart...)

It’s a 2017 Yamaha Quiet tec with 5800 miles. Clean and perfect condition

A 2016 Yamaha is NOT a Quietech. That started in 2017.

There big difference in price from standard village ready cart for out of bubble and village ready cart within ungraded seats and add ons. So only you know what your cart worth based on retail price and what worth to you. My 2013 FI cart retailed for 13000K back in 2012. I would not take less than $7500. Why? I could no way replace it with same options for that price plus it might not be in condition of mine.

I was simply giving a comparison of what carts sell for by year...

I know that. I sold my 2013 and bought a 2017 because I wanted a QuieTech...

Good thing. Because no one would give you that much $$$ for that cart...

Your 2017 Yamaha QuieTech if equipped with high end seats, enclosed dash, storage trays, seat belts, tires in good shape and other most popular accessories and is a PTV Personal Transportation Vehicle, not a fleet model then it will sell between 8500 and 9K.

Ultimately your cart is only worth what someone is willing to pay you for it. Yes, check value by what other's are asking, but that may not be what you actually get for it. Just keep that in mind.
