WOW!! Say it's true. We are originally from the Rochester, NY area and Abbott's has always been "The Place" to get great ice cream. Smoothest, tastiest frozen custard you'll ever have. Always lines in front down by the beach on Lake Ontario. This will be a treat. We've actually had some shipped once just to share. Now we need someone to carry Zweigle's hotdogs and "all will be right in the world".

Loved Stoddard’s in Kent after baseball games as a kid. Hope this is as good. I’m now crossing my fingers for a Swenson’s like hamburger establishment.

I hope one day the frozen treat people make a lactose free ice cream or custard. Just one flavor, basic vanilla, would be enough. Grabbing a cone with friends would be fun.

Not a custard fan, but along with your request, sugar free would be a bonus. As it’s stands now I make my own Ice Cream 2 quarts at a time.

I never heard of frozen custard until recently - out West is ice cream and some frozen yogurt. I’ve since tried, and it’s just “ok” - still prefer good, homemade ice cream.

We are from WI so we will judge it against Culver’s. Our fav Custard stands in SE WI will not be there(Kopps). 😉
