The Daily Sun includes an item article titled OFF BEAT. Since we have been here, 14 years, OFF BEAT has reported things that are usually light-hearted. Over the past week two reports were written that are far from light-hearted. Today, Sunday, the OFF BEAT section told of a young man who was seen walking to and from a switch for a railroad. Since a derailing of a train occurred, apparently something was done to the switch. Whether or not the individual is guilty or not, the item is not light-hearted. Last week a story was printed about of a young child, I think a one year old, who was found all alone walking on the side of a busy highway. While nothing happened to the child, this is not light-hearted. Who was responsible for this child to be there? Better yet, who is responsible for calling these situations light-hearted and allowing them to be printed.
