Is their transportation service between TV & Port Canaveral for cruises? Will be taking the Port Canaveral cruise in August.

Cheap not what I think. Cost over $ 100 for our last 7 day cruise. Was easy to park though

vs. two way shuttle cost
and
driving, you're not relying on someone else to be timely.
well worth it.

Depending on your dates of travel, yes:
The Cruise Express (https://book.thecruiseexpress.com/Tours/Cruise_Express_Shuttle/Overview)
Unlikely for any month between May and August inclusive, though

Usually we will get there a day earlier so there is a hotel stay included

Mike we went on a cruise last August and rented a car from Enterprize in Leesburg, they have a short shuttle service to the ship and back, we did a one-day car rental each way

If I was single $100 would be a good deal. As a couple, I would drive. We use off site parking which is much cheaper than onsite parking, plus it’s faster to get too and they are there before 7am when you get off the ship

Compared that to round trip transportation for 2, it's cheap.

If you have disabled veteran license plates, parking is free at most Florida ports.

Did you park at the port or offsite? Offsite is $9/day. And like Mr Helpful pointed out, by the time you pay for a shuttle for two both ways you’ll be well over $100…

On site parking costs more. You pay for the pleasure of walking off the ship and right to your car. If you self-carry your bags, you are on the road in no time. I pay the extra, especially if it is a four or five nighter.

Yankee Trails

The OP is going on the cruise in August and Yankee Trails (aka Cruise Express) doesn't start service until mid October. However, we have used them to Miami and they are very good and a bargain.

Good grief. I am always amazed that people will pay for a cruise and then complain about parking. Want cheap, stay home! :pepper2:

What is wrong with doing things efficiently? Sorry (actually I am not) if you do not approve.

So easy to drive to Port Canaveral. Less than 2 hours. Very easy to park at port especially if you are early. Safe secure lot. Drop luggage-porters help you take it out of car and then park. We always have gotten a spot in the open lot rather than garage and can see our car as soon as we exit the terminal doors. Last cruise we were in the lobby on deck 17 at 7:50 and going through the parking lot exit gates at 8:05. May cost a little more--$15-- than off-site but a lot less aggravation. No waiting for anything and only move luggage 1x. Cheaper than Port Everglades which is $20/day.

OP here.
Thanks everyone for the advice. We will park our car for a 7 day MSC cruise from Port Canaveral starting on a Sunday. Our check in time is 12:30. So just drive and find a parking lot? Is there only one terminal for all the ships? Any other suggestions?

# of terminals..............but don't worry, very good signage.
Look at Google Maps prior to leaving and get a general flow of the place.
I would drop your spouse/other travelers off at the terminal, with luggage and park the car by yourself.
Do a potty check about 1/2 out...........as you get closer, less options. :loco:
& when you return from your cruise, if you can...........take the stairs at the parking lot (lots of peeps waiting at the elevator).
