Best seafood resturant in and around TV is BONEFISH Grill on 466.

I think the Lighthouse restaurant in Sumpter Landing has the best fried clams and Haddock around

I think the Lighthouse restaurant in Sumpter Landing has the best fried clams and Haddock around

First time we had fish 'n chips takeout the dinners were terrific. Haddock was nice and white and flakey.

Tonight we again ordered the same fish 'n chips and my haddock was disgustingly brownish and not flakey; obviously old fish; hubby sez his was okay. Being a New Englander, I grew up accustomed to real fresh haddock and this was such a disappointment.

Tomorrow we plan to return my order to the manager just for his information. I'm sure he would like to know when a customer is not pleased with the serving, especially fish. I am not seeking remuneration, but want to show him the color of the fish and couldn't do so if I merely phoned my complaint. I would return there but be more cautious about the fresh fish.

Do they have the belly clams or just the clam strips? Bonefish Grille is good but feel the food is overpriced. Nothing can compare to the Maine chowda, lobsta, etc.....b

They have the Ipswich Belly Clams. Also have the what I call old Howard Johnson claim strips! Excellent cole slaw best I have had in a while.

We lived in Nashua then moved to Bedford now in Charlotte and soon to be at Pennicamp

The Bonefish Grill is definitely NOT the Lighthouse nor do they try and compete with that place. Yes it is much pricer but you probably get what you pay for. Never had a bad meal there. We had a tough time finding an "upscale" seafood resturant and although Bonefish may not be the ultimate ..... its better than simply good and that would go for the service as well as the food..plus you can make a reservation. Their prices do not seem to keep the crowds away so they must be doing something right.

We can talk about our favorite places back home ( we all have them) but fortunately (or unfortunately) we are in Florida and have to find the best we can with what we have available.

Stumpknockers gets my vote for best seafood, even if it is a bit of a drive. It's also a fun place to go and is right on the river.

Very hard to find good fresh fish in TV - We'll have to try Stumpknockers - have driven past both locations.

We like the pizza at Pavarotti's in Dunnellon also.

And, Rainbow Springs and have to do the Withlacoochee bike trail this trip.
