We have an Iris model home in Pine Ridge. Does anyone know where the clean out drain is located? I have checked with home warranty and the original plumbing company. Neither one knows.
Thanks.

I would walk around the neighborhood and look for one that is aboveground. Your cleanout will be most likely be in the same location at your house.

Our Lantana cleanout is at the right front corner about twelve inches from the exterior wall.

Depending on how old your house is it might be buried in the lawn. Ours is in the grass right next to the garage where all the other utilities come into the house. Look for a 3" - 4" white pvc cap with a square nut on top.

Thanks, but the ones I can see are all in different spots. None of them seem to match up with ours, unless it has been buried under landscaping rock.

OP, you are correct these are very hard to find if they get buried, and they do NOT show up on the plat (plot) plans. my suggestion is take a look at your neighbor's houses to see if theirs are visible and note which side of the house it is on. In our neighborhood, the drain lines run between every other house and then branch to each house, so one house will have the clean out on the right and the other on the left. Once you have figured out the pattern, go to the correct side of your house and use a long skinny screwdriver and start probing the garden (or lawn) area close to the house, with any luck you will find it a few inched below grade. Once you do, I would arrange to have it extended to a few inches above grade.

Found it. It is about a foot directly in front of the left corner of the house as you are facing it. It was buried under some landscape rock.

Excellent, thanks for letting us know the outcome.

Should this be checked and for what?

Occasionally there have been drain backups, and this is one of the ways to check for the blockage and possibly clean it out.

We have a Lantana & searched for months for ours due to stone in landscaping. Hired a plumber & he finally found it. ( Joe Tucker 352-430-5615). Doesn’t matter the model, they are located in many different areas. Ours is about 2 feet outside the master bathroom window. Good Luck

Houses in the new area are basically on the property line opposite your air conditioning unit. Is about 2 feet further away from the street and the front of the house and my neighbors is right next to mine.
