I'm mostly thinking playgrounds when grandkids come to visit.

I would certainly like to think so since the Charter School swim team got to use the Laurel Manor sports pool for many many years?

A call to the school would give a quick answer………
Or should we all give our guesses?

Or should we all give our guesses? A wide variety of people view these posts. There may very well be someone who knows. Besides- this is Social Media- the main purpose of which is to interact with others. The choice is to make a phone call- or engage with others and enjoy the variety of answers and nuances that happen in these engagements.

A question was asked. The main purpose of that is to get an answer. A correct one.

I have taken my grandson to play on the playgrounds, but the pool access is restricted. Once the splash pad is open, I believe that is open to all.

Middleton is being developed for the employees' families that are working in TV. I am curious to know if there are any restrictions on access or is everything public access?

I'm mostly thinking playgrounds when grandkids come to visit.

No Middleton facilities are for Middleton only. As a matter of fact even their dog park you have to use Middleton resident gate key to get in. Middleton downtown will be open to all the commercial buildings even the splash pad will be open to al.

The playground is not behind a gate. It’s not being policed. It’s accessible just like any street in Middleton is accessible. It’s not part of the schools, and is no different than the playground across the street from Lake Sumter Landing in that it’s open to anyone.

Wait, do you want to spend money in these commercial establishments that they’re putting in Middleton but we cannot use the facilities in Middleton. I would say nobody goes down there and spend money.

So you're saying if they come to brownwood and spend money they can come to your neighborhood pool?

The residents of Middleton don’t have access to The Villages pools or Rec Centers.
Residents of The Villages don’t have access to Middleton pools.
Seems fair to me.

Middleton, a family-friendly community in North Central Florida, is designed to meet the needs of people who serve and care for The Villages community. However, Middleton's amenities are intended for everyone to enjoy, including:
Recreation areas
Middleton has a variety of recreation areas, including playgrounds, swimming pools, basketball and pickleball courts, and a dog park.
Downtown area
Middleton's downtown area will include office spaces, restaurants, and a splash park.
Trails and pathways
Middleton is connected by a network of trails and pathways, including tunnels, sidewalks, and multimodals.

When we were looking at a house in Middleton, the open house guy stated Middleton Pools and Dog park would require a Middleton ID to access gate. Middleton owners, would not have Villages Resident ID’s.

That said if one travels to their playground, it’s not gated. But fair warning, if one is in the area, without a child, you will be watched closely, and rightfully so, parents go to protection mode.
Just like anywhere in the US, a stranger without a child, at Middleton playground is just creepy.

I believe this means you don't have to work in TV to buy in Middleton.

That is correct, you do not have to work for or in The Villages to buy and live in Middleton.

If the OP was asking about the playgrounds at the schools (I assume the lower school has one) - I assume they can go there when school is not in session.

OP doesn’t state school or Middleton proper. Would think the school playground would be in the back could be little remote, but I have only noticed the front of the school. Playground in Middleton would be my choice, more people in an open area,

It’s creepy if you make it creepy. I spent a lot of time over there checking it out for my kids. Many young families talked to me and told me how they loved it. No one was afraid of me because I didn’t have kids with me!
