Just out of curiosity...how much would the OP be willing to pay?

Check with the local pet shelters, some are offering very low cost adoptions, just saw an add on Television for several kitties, no idea if they have any Siamese. I have had cats for close to 50 years, up to 4 at one time, and all were rescues, 4 of them were black cats.

I have had one or two cats my whole adult life. I’ve always had at least one black or tuxedo cat - they have great personalities.

Yes they do, we currently have a Tuxedo, and she is a great lap cat.

You won't find any cat breeders in The Villages, let alone specifically Siamese cats. But if you're looking for a high-maintenance, incredibly loud and talkative cat, I'm sure you'll find a mixed breed that'll suit your needs. You can check with Petfinders.com or the shelter. PetSmart usually has some rescues available for adoption.

Also remember - if you're getting a kitten, and you're a senior citizen, you'll need to decide if you'll be able to still take care of it (bend down to clean the litter box every day, change food and water every day) 15 years from now. If not, maybe consider adopting an adult cat, 4-6 years old.

Our stray jet black cat showed up at our door just before Halloween. Named her Mephistopheles (Misty for short). Great cat. Unfortunately about a year later, although we tried to keep her a “house cat” she decided to leave town around Halloween. Had a tabby, a sealpoint Siamese, a pure white, etc. All in all, six cats all at different times, with and without a dog. Now? Only a Lhasa Apso dog who has no time for any competitors in the house.

and will they outlive you? One of my cats lived to be 20 years old.

Had two tuxedo cats in my life, both were particularly aloof (the second one showed up at our door one day and never left; he’s about 15 now).

Best cat we ever had was a Siamese. Best of luck to OP in finding one.

Check with Sheltering Hands, they have new thrift store in Lady Lake. Also contact the Crazy Cat Club of the Villages. Look on Facebook ,The Village Word of Mouth. Recently there were two adult Siammese who needed a home. Please try to adopt. So many kitties need rescue. Sheltering Hands has a program for seniors that is wonderful.

Yes they do, we currently have a Tuxedo, and she is a great lap cat.

So do we! Our first tuxedo adoption - we got him in April and will be a year old next week. Most cuddly cat I’ve had. Also have a black cat who is very nice and friendly but a little more “proper”. Two of my kids have black cats that are 100% Lao cats.

My daughter worked at a shelter and black cats - even tuxedos - are the last to go because of superstitions. Many people miss great pets as a result.

I can recommend the Leesburg Humane society for kittens (did not visit others nearby). They have a great approach to kittens and how they are socialized (lots is time with volunteers!!). They also seem to take “reservations” for kittens that are still too young for adoption as we were told when we walked in “the orange kitten is already spoken for”. All kittens have shots and are spayed/ neutered before adoption. I would call them and see if they get many Siamese if that is what you want. Personally - I would go “meet” some kittens and see which one speaks to your heart!

We have two Tuxedo cats. Would you believe Lego has a tuxedo cat kit (https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/tuxedo-cat-21349)? My daughter went crazy..

It’s expensive yes, but I have used a PetSafe ScoopFree (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07WZPJ2LW) robot litter box for 15 years.

They have litter trays that can be swapped out every few weeks. I never even think about it. Takes 4 minutes to swap out. No odor with the high end crystal litter.

Craigslist is a great place to find kittens..

I had a cousin who had Siamese, and Burmese cats.
Very vocal, and totally nuts!
Don't know if the breed are all like that, but would never let one in our house.
They would drive me nuts.
We have always had "lineage unknown" Moggies.
Tough as old boots, and kept all the kids, dogs etc.in order!
When the last one went to the great cattery in the sky, we never replaced her.
Too many birds in our garden where we live now, to risk another cat.

A grey tuxedo adopted us and keeps the rabbit population under control at home. I've never seen a cat kill rabbits like that one can.

Before my husband and I were married at Christmas time he said he wanted a cat. I was able to find a kitten, the last one left. She was a black cat, half Siamese. People really are superstitious and didn't want her. I picked her up on Christmas Eve. This was in CT and it was a cold winter day. I remember wrapping her inside of my heavy, wool coat that I was wearing as I walked her out to the car.

Less than a year later my boss had purchased a home and someone left a pregnant female cat behind. My boss tried to get her inside to have her kittens but she got away. Came back later pregnant again. This time my boss was able to get mama inside to have her kittens. There was one kitten left, a black male and nobody wanted him. I took him and he eventually became a giant love bug. So when my husband and I got married we had two black cats. Eventually we had more cats but they just happened to be other colors, a gray cat that was 1/2 Maine Coon and another cat that was a tortoise shell.

Looking to adopt a siamese kitten from someone in The Villages. Must have all shots.

For some reason, this OP's thread bothers me.
MUST be a Siamese, Must be a kitten, Must come from someone in TV, and Must have ALL shots.
He/she probably wants it for free, too, and already neutered, right?
If I had one, I probably wouldn't sell one to this person, and yes -- I said SELL!

You may find a part Siamese at cat rescue centers. I have two pure Siamese and two rescue part Siamese/oriental. One purebred was from Blue Isles in Ft Myers.

Did you recently lose a precious Siamese? I ask because they are special but a lot of work if you don’t know what they are like.
My boy owns me and thinks it’s time to play when I come in the door. He has a longer agenda than I do.

Some decades back I happened upon a six month old cat, male, coal black: half Siamese and the other half "from a good family". Grew up into the most beautiful tom I've ever seen: glossy black coat and striking blue eyes, topping out at 18 lbs. and all muscle. Saw him take on a full-grown German Shepherd once and win. Don't know what the black half was but his personality was all Siamese; a one-person cat that believed in speaking his mind. He and I had it out a couple of times but once we settled which of us was in charge, he was great.

Smart, too. He had a habit of getting into the garbage (kept behind a door under the kitchen sink) so I finally decided on one of those child-proof latches, which the cat watched me install. Next morning--garbage all over the kitchen floor. I assumed I hadn't closed the door all the way; the next morning I got up and caught him in the act: lying flat on the floor with one of his forepaws stuck up behind the door just far enough to trip the latch! He had figured that out from watching me install it.

Cats are smart critters. Much smarter than dogs.

Wife and I have one. Works great for us and our water usage has gone way down.
Wife is allergic to cats, so no pets here.

I can't ever remember a time when the cat was not in charge of the house dog.
I used to race and course a few greyhounds many years ago, but they were kenneled.
The cats knew they were in a different league, and avoided them, and the kennels, like the plague. A great move in the search for longevity.
Anything else was to be bossed about, or fair game.
