Recently had my 1 year inspection by Allied Home Inspection. This is a person with 50 years of construction experience. Very through and believe it or not very reasonably priced. If you need this person info please PM me.:eclipsee_gold_cup:

Why is there need for a home inspection in one year?

To find things that you didn't catch yourself, because once your one year warranty is up, you pay for it yourself. I've found many windows in our home that weren't right, either wouldn't open, or were out of their track letting in wind noise and draft. I only found these accidentally, and there could be several that I haven't found. I'd be curious of the price, as that would determine if it would be worth it. I was impressed when we sold our last home and the buyers had in inspection, and how much he found that I didn't know I had. One thing I'm going to do is call GE and have them check out our refrigerator, as it sounds like an Evenrude outboard motor at night.

If your interested Allied Home Inspection is owned by a Villager, his name is Jim Heistand and his phone number is 352-459-2459. It gives you peace of mind that you personally didn't overlook something that you may have to pay for out of your own pocket that should of been taken care of by The Villages.

Upon the advice of this board, a relative here in The Villages, recently had Allied Home Inspections do her home. Jim was great! Came out to her home and documented everything. Even took pictures! We were very impressed and would highly recommend him!
