There is a practice putting green by the Santiago rec center by El Diablo golf course. There is also one by Del La Vista golf course about 5 minutes from that area. It's also better for chipping and green reading as it has more sloped areas.

There is also a putting green at Saddlebrook. Depending where you will be in Santiago, it is only 5 or 6 minutes away. Of course there is the driving range and putting greens at Glenview CC.

A little farther, but still in the general neighborhood, there is a putting green and hitting cages at the Hacienda Hills course. And there is always the putting green and driving range at Glenview. So a LOT of practice golf alternatives just a short golf cart ride away.

Hacienda Hills has nets, putting and pitching green, as does all of the CC’s, Glenview and Lopez.

Another fun way to practice your putting is at the 18 hole putting green at First Responders rec centre!

Interactive map....

There is a good map at

Map of Locations (selectable) - The Villages 101 (http://www.thevillages101.com/map)

You can filter and select only the executive golf courses, or filter other categories.

Just off the top of my head, practice putting greens within about 20-25 minutes by cart (most are closer). For much more consistency I recommend the Championship course putting greens. I’m sure I’m missing a couple other options.

Championship - Glenview, Tierra Del Sol, Hacienda Hills, Lopez, Palmer, Mallory Hills, Cane Garden
Executive - El Diablo, De La Vista, Saddlebrook, Chula Vista, Pimlico

There is also the First Responders putting course, but that is more like circus golf with very inconsistent greens, not good for real practice.

There are driving ranges at Glenview, Lopez, and Palmer as well as the Lady Lake range.

Welcome! Great area, you're going to love it. New to golf? El Santiago executive is you're course. Always in good shape, wide greens, not crowded, oversized holes to boot. Like a challenge? Play the black tees at its sister executive course, El Diablo , appropriately named.
Plenty of Championship courses, as already mentioned, in the area if you're already a big hitter.
