Relative newbie in The Villages. Have friends visiting for a coulpe of days soon and want to show them golf in The Villages. Want to take them to play a championship round and an executive round. Where is the most "scenic" championship and executive course to give them the villages "wow" factor? Thanks.

Executive, Volusia. Unless of course the wind is blowing in that direction!:1rotfl:

Nothing beats the view across the lake to Sumter Landing. I believe that is the Riley nine at Palmer Legends.

Good choices. Bring plenty of balls for Pelican.

Pelican has been closed for renovation. I'd call them first.

Heron is next door. Great for late day golf with beautiful sunsets.

For an executive course (that is currently open), try Heron or Gray Fox. There are many championships with very pretty backdrops. The Riley Grove 9 at Palmer; the Hibiscus 9 at Cane Garden; any of the 9s at Glenview. Plus, the drive into Glenview is gorgeous.
