We've found simply purchasing a bottle of the weed killer you just attach to your hose, no mixing, no tank sprayer needed, is VERY quick, easy, and inexpensive (depending on brand, $9-$12 dollars) you just spray. Depending on how much area you have, but 15 minutes TOPS to take care of it.

Why? Too much work involved pulling weeds in flowerbeds?
If able I’d just buy some roundup with electric spray nozzle and squirt them. 20 some bucks for several applications (cause weeds aren’t going away) vs couple hundred bucks each application? Yes, they most likely use chemicals, few may pull them by hand at hourly rate? As far as weeds around flowers where I can’t spray/burn I just take 15 mins a pull them. After few disappointment you may consider doing it yourself? If find person that actually does good job consider yourself lucky IMO.

I have no weeds in my very large driveway, because several years ago I spent some quality time installing 25-year silicone caulk in all of the stress cuts in the driveway. The result, no weeds. As for the landscaping, there are a few battery powered weed sprayers, and I use one for about 10 to 15 minutes once or twice a month to control the weeds. I find these more convenient than a pump sprayer.
