Since palm trees have tight root balls and can be replanted, are there no nurseries who want them? In Houston, there were companies who would remove them for free (to sell). Of course, at some point they get too big, but I've got a couple of 15-foot Mexican palms I'd like to swap for windmill palm, if I knew who to call.

I agree with Michael's. They have worked in our neighborhood several times and do good work, including on my property.
