New Home Projects

Hello everyone! Just signed a contract last week for our lot in the villages , very excited to get the process going ! Question is what are some of the most popular projects villagers do to their homes after they move it ?

Depends on your home, budget, and what’s important to you. During my first six months, I added a wrap around bird cage, put in my landscaping and hardscaping, stained my driveway, installed gutters, apoxy in garage, added NOVA water filters, put surge protection on outside SECO box and inside electrical panel, painted interior, installed custom shelving to laundry closet and both bedroom closets, ripped out all rolled vinyl flooring and carpet and replaced with LVP, replaced kitchen and bathroom counter tops with quartz, and had a glass insert installed in my front door. Kept me super busy for six months, but was glad to get all these projects over and done with and to be able to start enjoying all the villages activities and clubs.

On our fourth house in TV, first house , added different shower doors in master, gutters river rock in the lanai, multiple cabinets in garage for storage.
House #2 added better fans in all living areas, gutters, shower doors in master cabinets in laundry room.
House #3 river rock in lanai, garage floor coat, gutters, designer driveway different appliances, interior exterior painting.

House #4 Pool. Anything else just doesn’t seem that important to change, since up grades are just cosmetic, and can really live without. It’s been 1.5 years, and have a list, but just not that important. Except for a mini splint the garage
