From this area and built a home here in the Villages after retirement. Eustis roofing has never had a negative reputation my entire life growing up here. It goes without saying, whoever you decide to go with, DO NOT EVER EVER NEVER sign over any insurance payment benefits to the roofing company.

Serious question, not being "snarky", do you have any specific things (or skills, techniques they use) that you are more satisfied with them than others you've used ? I'm in the process of choosing, asking a LOT Of questions concerning the under lay type, the number of nails to a strip used, the technique they use, especially how they do the valleys and ridge vents, etc. What sold you on Sack if I may ask ?

I was going to also recommend them. I looked on our warranty paperwork and they are the ones that put the roof on. Contact the warranty department and find out what roofer built your house.

Batterbee is great. Very consistent and reliable.
Be aware of the storm chasers. The guys who ride around in trucks claiming to be roofers but are actually handymen.
They are charging a lot to tarp your roof and may not be there years down the road if you have an issue. Some of these tarp jobs look like they threw a garbage bag over your roof. Go with a bigger company who are authorized dealers.
Also remember you have a 2% hurricane deductable on your insurance. That means your deductible is 2% of whatever you insured your dwelling for. So, figure out what the roof repair will cost and then decide maybe not to make a claim that will increase your premium if you are able to get any money or not. Of course if you need a whole new roof which many do, then call the insurance and be prepared for an $8K deductable if you are insured for $400K for example.

We used Batterbee and were very satisfied with them. They did an outstanding job on our roof. Batterbee is one of the few (or maybe the only one) who uses only their trained employees to replace our roof. This is a top notch company.

Certified Roofing Solutions is fully licensed and insured. There is a project manager on site during your job. All employees are insured and have workers comp. Plus, I chose them for the quality of their product and it was that company that recommended them as one of their certified roofers to install my roof. I checked them all out and this was the best rated. Plus, the cost.of my roof was in line with what I would have for paid for a lesser quality Roofing material from others. Win Win.
Ask for Marty when you call and tell them Beth sent you.

Maybe the shingle manufacture is more important than the roofer.
I am not very impressed with Certainteed...Are you?
8 year old roofs detaching in 70 MPH gusts is really kinda lame...Are there better shingles?

I had McHale before they merged with Eustis. Excellent job. They didn't send a salesman; they make my hackles go up; never trust them. They sent a supervisor who answered my 2 1/2 pages of questions. Like sitting down with my sons. An fortunatly, I am getting a 1 yr. inspection this month.
