Has anyone recently (last 3 or 4 years) replaced their vinyl/acrylic lanai windows?
We are not interested in a complete remodel to glass. Can a person purchase the replacements and just slip them in, or must one go through a contractor or business? If you can purchase them directly, where? If one must go through a dealer or contractor, who have you used and how satisfied were you? I would appreciate any relevant information. You can reply to this post or PM me at alfalfa.

Looking for someone to install glass block windows (2) in both bathrooms in The Villages. Does anyone know a contractor that does glass block windows in the area (Village of Summerhill, Sumter County).

I do not think you have provided enough information for a complete answer. For example do the existing windows appear to be removeable? Does the existing vinyl have splines (like screen doors) around the edges? Can you include photos inside and outside of your existing installation? With this info, you should be able to get good answers.
On a side note, if the panels are removeable, ACE hardware does screen repairs, they MIGHT be able to do the vinyl replacement.

You should also consider how much these panels weigh. They are rather heavy
