Sumter County officials to consider extending local state of emergency

The Sumter County Board of County Commissioners will convene a special meeting at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21 to discuss extending the local state of emergency. This comes as the county continues in the recovery process from the damage and flooding caused by Hurricane Milton. The meeting will take placate 5 p.m. in room 162
