I was in Lady Lake yesterday about 11:30. I'd never been to Billy's before and decided to give it a try. When I arrived I was seated in a small booth. I ordered a Denver Omelet and it was great! Along with home fries, toast, and several cups of coffee.

The young waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Billy's is a very well run place and worth a visit if you're in the area. :thumbup:

I found Billy's to be too crowded, too slow and just adequate. There are many better places...

Wow, it took 10 post before the first negative post. If you don’t care for a place, just move on without comment. We all need to support our local businesses.

Too crowded= popular. Have been going there for 4 years(25-30 times) and only time it was slow was due to fact that there was a large take out order that came in when we arrived. Another problem created by COVID.

I've lived here for 10 years and have always loved Billy's! If you had one bad experience, give it another try.

If based on personal experience, a negative opinion is just as valid as a positive one.

Sorry, but I prefer to hear ALL opinions, especially about restaurants. Everyone's experience is not the same and trying to shush someone's opinion is not cool.

As for Billy's, my experience has been hit or miss. Been there a half dozen times and it has been "adequate" at best. Staff is very friendly with good service, but in my OPINION food has been passable. Last time I was in, and it will be the last time, everything was burnt. My omelette was burned dark brown and the potatoes were actually burned black. I couldn't actually believe the cook would serve up what was on my plate. In any event everyone can vote with their feet and your mileage may vary...

We went there today and the place was extremely dirty. The wait staff just walked on paper and straw plastic like it wasn’t there. I saw it when we were at the front door.

Food quality seemed to be hit and miss. The waffle I had was good but the grits not so much. The hub had a biscuit with hash and scrambled eggs. Which were okay but the gravy was terrible.

On a scale from 1-10 I’d give it a 4.

I guess it crowded because it is so good- friendly staff, good food. It is worth waiting for.
