Installing acrylic on bottom frame of lanai

Does anyone have any experience with having acrylic windows in their lanai and has it worked out well?

No idea in installing acrylic panels in the lanai frame, however I am in the process of replacing the screen in the lower panel with "Florida Glas". This is basically vinyl with screen imbedded. It is much thicker than screening so you need to get suitable ribbing. I could not get the normal flat ribbing to work, but I found the round ribbing works very well.
