We tried Wild Bill's a few years ago and enjoyed it. Not sure that I would call it adventurous but it was interesting.

Our ride was on a boat that held 15+ people. They also had an option for a smaller boat that held only six or so (more expensive of course).

We’ve done both Wild Bill’s and Swamp Fever. I would go with Swamp Fever. Their equipment was a little nicer and they seemed a little more organized altogether.

When I first got here that was nice boat tour up St. John’s River at Astor’s black water inn. Nice as slow and no noise. I haven’t seen any advertising last couple years so he may of retired?

I believe Wild Bills may be out of business, We went by there a couple weeks and looked like it wasn't open any more. The Cove has airboat rides during day and evening one.

Swamp Fever, we have gone twice with the family and both times really enjoyed it. Depending on the time of year they try and show you what nature is doing. Also you get to hold an alligator if you want.

Swamp Fever was awesome! Took the family there twice. Everyone gets to hold a baby alligator. The ride was awesome! Highly recommend. You can go on their site and buy tickets ahead of time and pick the tour time you prefer.

I took family to Lake Panasoffkee and had great fun. We had been on a couple of airboat rides in the Everglades and my adult son thought this was better. A lot closer too!
