I got to TV late this year, so I haven't had a chance to play as much as usual.

I've played TDS, Mallory & today, Palmer.

All 3 golf courses were in near Private Country Club condition.

Palmer was particularly noticeable, in that even small details were on-brand. The tee markers & hole signs had been cleaned up and painted. Yardage markers painted. A think a couple of water dispensers were replaced. It was an absolute pleasure to play there today. Fairways, Greens & Bunkers were in excellent condition.

I suspect the forced vacation due to the hurricane, helped improve conditions, but there was also evidence of increased attention to the "golfing experience".

I hope it continues.

Didn’t the Reno on Palmer take 5-6 months, way before hurricane season.

Only Cherry Valley was renovated this year. Like Riley Grove & Laurel Valley that were renovated over the last 3 years, Cherry closed at the end of "snow bird season" and re-opened at the beginning of the next season. The time budget for championship course renovation is always about 6-7 months.
