My two favorite teams, USC (alma mater) and Tennessee are supplanted by my other two favorite teams: Anyone that beats ucla, and anyone that beats osu. God! That O-H, I-O crap is annoying AF. It's like they never learned how to spell a four-letter word so they need help from someone else to finish the word. I don't even care about Alabama even though they are a prime Tenn rival.

My guess is that the NCAA will put a stop to Flag Planting an opponent after this incident.

If college players can earn a salary while playing sports, can they be fined for unsportsmanlike conduct?

Brawls do not belong in football. If this continues, I will stop watching.

That will be the day the music dies.

Very good game - probably the college game of the day.

The brawl started long befor the game began. OSU in their MDS started things 2 weeks earlier at the Purdue game where the band at half time presented a bear defecating on Michigan. They did this when there were few M fans to see.

If they act unsportsmanlike, get rid of them. Why would you allow an unsportsmanlike player to pay money to continue to act that way? Forget about the fine.

Oh, ‘the rest of the story”! Interesting that wasn’t widely publicized.

I believe in a "broken windows" philosophy for football, when you let the players 'goon' it up after every good play and in the end zones especially, that starts the game down the road to more flagrant displays / behavior like we have today. Back when I played, no leather helmets, we celebrated as a team and with class. None of this, "ME, ME, ME" behavior made so infamous by Deon Sanders in the NFL. Look what that led to. Agree with the statement above, when the college game gets ghetto, I'll spend my time watching something else.

But for now, GO DAWGS!

Really ? Have you ever watched the movie ? You can find it for free streaming! The Titanic sunk in 1912. If I was there I'd be at least 112 years old. Close but no cigar.

WOW, as Buckeye fan and I am seeing a lot of animus from the obvious Michigan fans. Un sportsmanship exists on both sides. Why not discuss how this is stopped rather than "Dissing" the other team?

BTW, I have a neighbor from Michigan who has refused to be my friend because I am from Ohio.

That is a shame. I have OSU friends and golfing partners. Non of us take it too seriously. It is fun to take photos of our UM and OSU golf bags side by side when we share a cart.

Me too, we have a lot of fun with it including teases. Too bad there are some people, particularly on here that are WAY too serious!

It’s just a football game. Michigan beats Ohio State and Illinois beats Michigan. It’s just football. Get a life people!

My biggest beef in football, (college or NFL) is when a coach is allowed to get in the face of a ref or a player getting into the face of a ref during any game.

To me, no one should talk to, question a play, with any ref during the game.
Before a game, halftime, or after a game is fine.
That job makes or breaks any football game.

Yes there are flags and fines but very few.

By the way, now that teams are playing for a bowl game, or playing to get into the playoffs, watch all the bitching starting about bad calls being made.

I watch a lot of football and seen great teams lose out because of a bad ref call.
I wouldn't want that job.
