From the Nov. 25 Daily Sun:
"Piesano's Stone Fired Pizza is coming to Southern Trace Plaza. The company signed a lease for about 3,000 square feet at the neighborhood retail plaza on County Road 466 near The Villages Charter School's Buffalo Ridge campus. It will be Piesano's second location in The Villages, joining the restaurant at Lake Deaton Plaza. It will be the 15th location overall in Florida for the chain and will open in the company's 15th year in business. Piesano's features a variety of pizzas and calzones, traditional and specialty pasta dishes, soups, salads, subs and more. The Southern Trace location is anticipated to open in the third quarter of 2025."

This is probably going in the location formerly occupied by Beef 'O' Brady's.

Piesanos is great. I recall being surprised how good the pizza was after everyone told me there was no good pizza in the area.

Glad to hear this. I love this restaurant. I can get to that location via golf cart. Not so much the other location.

Piesano's is the only place I go for pizza anymore. The thin crust is very good. Every other pizza place uses way too much cheese. I think the cheese used on most pizzas has tripled in quantity and the sauce has become almost non-existent.

IMHO for some reason they skimp on the sauce so the pizza is overwhelmed by the cheese.
