Just preparing for the onslaught of golfers come January.
If you have played courses below lately, please share your experience focusing on
Greens, prices and time to play among many other stories you might want to share.

Could add Plantation @ Leesburg as well as Water Oak in Lady Lake.

Also understand the Deer Island pricing will go up $15 in Jan then an additional $15 for Feb.

You forgot CC of Silver Springs Shores, Lake Diamond, and Lakes of Lady Lake. The first two are worth considering for their design and price. Lady Lake is pretty much an "executive" length golf course, but in poor condition. But cheap! ;)

No reviews yet but I want to keep the thread alive because already it's becoming hard to reserve TV course tee times :-(

Cheers!

Out of curiosity, I just looked at Country Club Tee times for tomorrow. I have no idea how it's difficult to get a time. Even with guests, or a group of eight or twelve, looks like there is ample opportunity for golf, at least tomorrow. Good Luck with whatever it is you seek to accomplish.

Just make a request six days in advance at several courses. No problem even for foursomes. My group is always successful. But, go outside the villages to avoid their winter rates.

No problems for me yet. I basically have my pick when I go on three days in advance. Of course I fly solo right now, so that makes it easier. But even so, I see lots of tee times available for 4 (championship on weekends).

High of 70 tomorrow, plenty of open times. But let me add, over the 14 years I've been on ToTV, I've seen this type of thread started and there usually is an ulterior motive behind them. Complaining about the Developer, complaining about the cost to play, complaining about how big the Villages has become, complaining about snowbirds, etc. I should have ignored the post like I usually do, and I will next time.

Mission Inn, the El Campeon course, is one of the best courses in central Florida. Definitely a must play. It is in Howey in the Hills

Yes they're good courses. I need to add Orange County National to that list.
I guess no-one on this forum lately played the courses mentioned very often.

Cheers!
