Yes, there are plenty of Young in's that live with their parents and/or grandparents up there but the parties might not be what you are expecting.

"Young-ins" in a senior community? Say it isn't so. Anything wrong with having some piece and quiet without a bunch of kids smoking dope, listening to rap musicor heavy metal? Young folks are allowed here to VISIT their senior family members. If you want a young population, then why move to a senior community? Just saying. Young folks seem to think that this is a resort for their vacations. Not to mention those Air B&Bs that should be banned from the Villages (which is another subject).

If by "youngin's" you mean "residents between age 50-60" then yes there are driveway parties in and near Spanish Springs. However, MOST of them are for people who live in the immediate neighborhood. So you won't see people from St. Andrews Boulevard near the Hilltop pool, being invited to a driveway party in Del Mar on the other side of 441.
If by "youngins'" you mean "the children of the main residents, or their grandchildren, between the ages of 19 and 40" then - nope, you're not likely to see any driveway parties hosted by any of them.
If you lived on my street or the street behind me (making you a back-yard neighbor) and I met you and we exchanged pleasantries and names, then you'd be invited to mine and our other neighbors would invite you to theirs, and hopefully you'd have one every once in awhile and invite us to yours. They're usually pot-luck and BYOB+chair.

🤣🤣🤣 I just moved to the Spanish Springs area. I would love to have a driveway party… I’m finding that there’s an awful lot of people that are in their 60s but still act like they're ancient. i’m retired, but I’m still active and go out dancing and know how to throw a good party..

You can check out The Villages clubs like South of 60. Or Club E Dance. If you’re just trying to meet more younger people try going to the local gyms or Pickleball courts around 7am or 6pm.

I'm under 60, not retired, and live north of Spanish Springs. I don't think it's that they act "ancient"; it's probably more that they lean introverted or are looking for a slower, quieter pace of life. I have zero interest the town squares, I don't drink, and have no interest in parties or big social gatherings. I would much prefer sitting in a fishing boat somewhere with a buddy or two. I am still very active but in the fitness sense. Probably the only reason I even bought a place in The villages was because of how beautiful the grounds are, how quiet it is where I am at, the awesome sport pools for lap swimming, and the multi modal paths for biking.
I like that the neighborhoods are quiet but the option is there for people who like big social gatherings and parties. They can use the rec centers, join clubs, and go down to the town squares.
If the quietness up here ever disappeared, I'd probably sell and move someplace else.
Different strokes for different folks I guess...

I can tell you from first hand experience that most of the dope smoking in the villages is done by people Iike myself ,although no heavy metal music ,I prefer Miles Davis,( starting smoking as a teenager and still at it in my mid 80’s ) I go the gym everyday ,out to dinner 4or 5 nights a week and still love going to the mall to shop for clothes that I really don’t need lol

I was going to recommend some Facebook and Meetup groups specifically for "young'uns" but your profile on TOTV says you are 63 so you are disqualified.

Actually, most of the spoiled brats that live with their parents are in the southern part of the villages. Do yourself a favor and read the paper.

A while back someone had a good local band play in their back yard by Paradise Lake. That had a lot of visitors looking to party.

Welcome and throw the party. It should be more interesting than the garage sales in the area.

I can't knock anyone that feels "young" at 63. They should keep up that great attitude. Some say attitude is everything.

I'm 63. I don't smoke anything but I used to and have no problem with the idea that half my neighborhood either smokes it or uses edibles. I LOVE Heavy Metal music. I consider The Villages to be a retirement resort, so yes, a resort. And I used to come here for vacation when I was in my late 40's and early 50's and still working.
Sometimes I get the feeling that some folks need to just light up and Bang Your Head (no, I'm not suggesting violence, it's the name of a song by Quiet Riot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_1ruZWJigo .)

A couple of years ago, a bunch of musicians set up on the platform across the street from Schwartz Park on Aloha Way and performed for whoever wanted to listen.

Well said.
I just don't understand those that chose to live in the largest, most active 55+ community in the world looking for peace and quiet. Indeed, this is a 55+ community, not "retirement community", not a "senior community". I love the fact that my neighbors all around me are living and loving their life, just like me.
