I was told that I need a plumber to install a new gas stove. Can you make a good recommendation please?

Mike Scott has a gas division and a good reputation.

It depends on where you buy the stove as some retailers will install it. However that depends on whether or not you have a gas line at the stove, usually if you have gas in the house the valve is already behind the stove. We purchased our LG Washer and gas Dryer online from Sears and they included installation.

They are in business online. Just run a search for Sears appliances. We found them to be the lowest price between them, Lowes, and Home Depot on appliances including delivery and hookup.

Purchased a new gas dryer for moving in. Was a big mystery if the company/delivery men would/could hook up the dryer. I was ready to do this myself, but the delivery guys were all over the hook-up without asking.

There are videos on YouTube showing how you can hook up a gas stove.
This is the link to one of the videos:

If your gas provider is Leesburg gas, call them - they hooked up my gas dryer.

Home Depot delivered our gas dryer and washer. They hooked up everything.

You don’t need a plumber to install a gas stove. If you buy it f I’m lowes or Home Depot, they will install it when they deliver it. You can install it yourself too, but you want to make sure the fitting and connection are tight, use the water soap solution around the fittings to make sure there are no leaks. Also, it’s wise to get a new gas hose each time you plug it in to an appliance

If you already have a gas line to the kitchen and you just need the stove hooked up to it, call Jeremy Caswell at 603-833-3213. He is an excellent and honest handyman.

I have no problem recommending Mike Scott Plumbing as well. I had no hot water due to a bad gas pressure regulator. I thought the part pricing; service call and onsite labor was very fair. About $150. They also did all of the plumbing and gas install in our new house which has had no other issues. Been here 4 years.

I would agree with Mike Scott, they installed my washer and gas dryer when I first moved in 3 years ago.

We bought a new gas stove from Home Depot and they hooked up the gas line. The next day I told my husband I smelled gas, he said he did not. A few days later, I again told him definitely smelled gas, he still said he did not. I called Mike Scott Plumbing who came that day. Technician did meter test and I was correct, it was leaking. He then told me a weird fact, he said women have a better sense of smell to detect the odor of natural gas over men. After he fixed the leak and left, I googled it and read some very interesting information on that topic.
