At least according to a Newspaper who is not to be mentioned on TOTV, Barry Buske who owns Badger Home Watch, was caught shoplifting at the local Publix.

He made some sort of "deal" to avoid prosecution.

How would you like to give this guy a set of keys to your home, while you were away!

"Hey Barry! I'm leaving to go back to Des Moines for a few months, can you stop over and pick up a set of keys for my house and keep an eye on it, while I'm gone?"

The article says he needs to complete "an anti-shoplifting class". How about writing: "Thou shalt not steal" 1000 times on a blackboard?

I wrote "I shall not use swear words" on a blackboard, 2000 times (3rd offense). Didn't take.

IMO most first time shoplifters get off easy. Other than having got caught embarrassed and prosecuted. Even multi time shoplifters get off I guess it’s dollar amount you attempted to steal tied to time you get if any?

Well, at least they attempt to prosecute habitual criminals, not like other states.

Does he have to put on his advertising that he is a crook?

If he follows through on his agreement with the Prosecutor, he won't be a "convicted crook" merely an "accused crook".

I suspect he won't order new business cards, with "A.C." after his name.

Wait until he gets grabbed again. Who gets grabbed & prosecuted, the very 1st time they ever tried to pull that off?

If my teacher ever made me write I shall not use swear words 2000 times on the blackboard, I would've done this:

I shall not use swear words 2000 times."

And then put the chalk down and walked away.

Indeed - what a way to lose all credibility for your side business. Maybe he can apply to be a "loss prevention officer" since he has experience in that area.

Nope, change company name, rinse and repeat.

It is a complete scam. They are former time share crooks who brought that business model to travel. They have no superior access to travel deals but want you to pay an ongoing subscription fee.

I’ve never seen a single badger in The Villages, much less seen one watching my house. I used to live in a home here that had a three foot black snack that prowled the shrubbery. I saw a dead armadillo in the road once, and a live mink.

Nope, apparently you just need to push on. A criminal record has just became a great resume builder.

Some have no clue. Some have no shame. Some have neither.
