NFL has, for 2 sets of televised games, has strongly helped solicit donations for CA fire victims. Rightfully so.
WHAT ABOUT THE VICTIMS OF HURRICANE HELENE, ESPECIALLY IN NC ?
NFL is disgusting. It appears they are playing politics ?

It appears in your focus on politics you missed this news:
NFL family $8M contribution to Helene relief efforts (https://operations.nfl.com/updates/football-ops/nfl-family-contributes-8-million-to-hurricane-helene-relief-efforts/)

Seems like a very delusional take to be honest. Helene happened 4 months ago while the California fires are happening NOW.
Disaster relief charities tend to focus on the most recent ones. The NFL certainly did promote donations to Helene back in September.
It's a shame when some people can't just turn on a sporting event and focus on enjoying the game instead of looking for political conspiracies. Only in TV I guess.

Actually, NFL gave 8 million to Hurricane Helene and only 5 million to CA wildfires. You could’ve looked that up quicker than it took you to get all riled up and post this. Some people just want to find a negative in any and everything.

$8MM for a multi-billion dollar business ? Nice gesture BUT...why didn't they reach out, on air, to the 80 million people watching that could dwarf the $8MM ??

When they reached out to the 80M people watching the playoffs they raised $5M for the CA fires. They raised $8M for the Helene recovery. Are you suggesting they wer able to raise 60% MORE *without* reaching out???

I disagree with your premise.
Our Government 'forgot' about NC residents.
Yeah! Otherwise you would see the videos of the govt airlifting complete houses into the area.

Disasters like this are the responsibility of the Federal Government, not private charities. If the Government is going to depend on private charities to fund disaster relief, then they need to audit the charities for efficiency and the proper use of tax deductible donations. The current law provides absolutely no auditing of tax deductible donations or the efficient use of tax deductible funds. So, a charity can operate as inefficiently as they want, and there are no Government rules or oversight. This is a waste of taxpayer money. And, $8 million is pocket change compared to what the Government spends on other things. Obviously, the Government is not very efficient, but private charities are even more inefficient.
