Red Fox

After the past week of frigid weather and cancelled tee times , I was able to find an open tee time for our group at Red Fox . It’s been a long time since we played there.

What an absolutely beautiful day for playing golf !

The course is in very nice condition…. Tee boxes and greens have been well maintained.

The greens were smooth and in the fast side . Pin placements were fair except for one hole. Sorry , I didn’t make a note of which one. The hole was punched on the crest of a hill and so the putt would come up to the hole , stop, and then go back down the hill. <sigh>

The fairway on the par 4 second hole was plush .

Overall, the course deserves a B + to an A rating….

Played Red Fox recently. They mini-plugged and sanded the greens. However, they still rolled really nicely.
I hope all courses south of 44 will be this good all year.

I’m hoping that as well …. Those courses south of 44 have generally been in great shape.

The greens must have healed quickly from being punched because I saw no evidence of that on Sunday ….
