As long as people are lining up to pay $6.50 to hit a small basket of dead balls at lopsided stakes in a pond, I doubt that floating green will be replaced.

I paid $23/bucket in Naples, 2 weeks ago. The Villages is a deal.

I'm sure they weren't "floaters".

I'm sure they weren't "floaters".
And I’m sure they weren’t being hit into a body of water.

They were.
& GlenView and Palmer both have brand new golf balls ... I don't know about Sarasota.
GlenView went to Srixon Range ball, which I think is a better ball.

Oh yes they were.
Just a guess, but I think somewhere over 40% of the Driving Ranges at golf courses in Florida, are hitting into water, using "floaters". It makes perfect sense, seeing as how much land a range takes up and the need for large detention basins on golf courses. It's a no-brainer.

Yeah, that part was particularly disappointing.
