We haven’t played Loblolly in many months . We usually wind up with Longleaf.

Anyhow, the course is in great shape . The greens are nearly flawless and fast .

Collar around the greens were good with very little hard pan here and there.

Tee boxes were flat and in good shape .

Overall , the course deserves an A rating….

Any time I've played any of those courses south of 44 they were always in good shape. Unfortunately it's been a while too.

We play them often and I agree…. Generally in very good shape.

The maintenance crew is doing a great job in maintaining these courses .

And I’ve noted a definite improvement in the “northern” courses too !

Yes, in the fairway 30~40 yards in front of the green.

In fact , one of our players hit their tee shot right into it ! We were able to recover his ball with a ball retriever.

And the joke for the rest of the round was about his “sink hole in one” !!! :)
